Deb Wilson holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Marketing and a Minor in Legal Studies. She also holds a certificate in Public Relations. She has recently completed the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) Certificate IV in Human Resources.
Deb has worked in Executive Search and Recruitment for over 17 years purely in the communication, corporate affairs and customer experience (CX) sectors with her client base being ASX listed corporates, multinationals, Government departments and not-for-profit organisations.
This has included the recruitment of Executive Director, Director, CEO level roles along with senior and junior roles across corporate affairs, internal communication, investor relations, media relations, stakeholder engagement, community relations, public affairs and Government relations.
Since 2012, Deb has become an expert in recruiting for large projects, particularly within the NSW Government. She undertook the restructure for NSW Roads and Maritime Services and most recently, the recruitment for the newly created RMS Motorways division which involved sourcing experienced professionals for the communication and stakeholder engagement department.
In addition, Deb has managed the restructure for the NSW Department of Planning and Environment and has also worked with most of the major departments including; the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Department of Education, Department of Health, Transport for NSW, Sydney and NSW Trains and the Department of Family and Community Services.
Deb has also personally conducted over six hundred search and recruitment assignments for major Australian and international corporations.
Prior to executive search, Deb had a long standing career in marketing, communications and sponsorship in the business and events tourism industry.
